The finer details

First of all I want to start off with thanks all my reader. I take time and effort to make this posts and it's amazing to know that people are taking the time to read. So THANK YOU! Now back to (drum rolllllllllllll) The Running Chronicles.  You guys now know what my project is about so lets me tell you how I am going to achieve that goal.

Step 1: Do a race to determine the speed of the participant
Basically I am going to take my friend Yassi to a running track and ask her to run 100 meters in her full speed. Using a hand clock and video footage, I will determine her time and in the following 10 days try to improve upon it.

Step 2: Train the participant
Using a variety of cardio, resistance and flexibility exercises I will train her every day. First I will start off with bring up her stamina which basically means I need to make sure she can keep up with all the exercises. In the beginning I will be doing muscle work without weighted but gradually will add to it to improve her strength. During the last 5 days I will kick up the intensity and do speed training. Throughout all the 10 days I will be making her do abs work, improving her flexibility and teacher her good running form.

Step 3: Set up a meal plan
"You are what you eat" is true so if I want Yassi to be at her fastest by the end of my project, I must tend to her food needs as well. I will be providing all her breakfast/snacks which will help her perform her best at trainings and give her body the necessary nutrients. Also provide with healthy meal options for lunch and dinner.

Step 4: Test Time
Do the beginning test again and see if any improvement was made. This time Yassi will be wear track shoes (shoes with 7 spikes on the ball of the shoe). Celebrate if she is faster!

Step 5: Make Video
Put all the footage together with music. Try to keep it short enough to keep people interested and make sure it answers my question.

Step 6: Peer Review
Show the video to friends and family to get their reactions. Make changes if necessary and survey to get feedback.

Step 7: Present
Show the video to my class and post it on the internet. Get hopefully positive reactions and feedback and a good grade on my project!

Hopefully this gives you a better understanding on my project. Comment if you have any ideas to help me or anything else. Criticism gladly excepted!

PS: tomorrow is when the project officially beings which means the boring introduction is over. Video of it will most likely be posted. Stay tuned!
